Posted by If you are friends with me on Facebook or follow me on Instagram or Twitter then you already know, but for the few who may not have heard, there is a new addition to my family. Her name is Annie and she is a 6 year old German Shorthaired Pointer. She is quite precious and has already captured my heart.
I’ve known Annie since she was a pup. Her parents were in my small group at church and lived close by, so I got to see Annie often in her early years…but then she moved to Houston with her family. A few months ago, her mom Stacie posted that they were looking for a new home for Annie as they are soon to be moving and can’t take her with. Just a couple of days before I had been talking to friends at work about how I wanted a dog but didn’t think I wanted to go thru the puppy stuff. Don’t get me wrong I love puppies but right now my life doesn’t lend itself to the time that puppies need. So I reached out to Stacie to say that Annie was welcome at my home anytime. Fast forward a couple of months and Annie moved in on May 31.
My new roommate and I have spent a lot of time getting to know each other this past month and of course I have been taking lots and lots of pics. Stay tuned for more about my adventures with Annie and feel free to stop by to visit anytime–Annie loves visitors!
