What a year it’s been! While much has happened over the course of the past year some things stand out more than others. Over the next couple of days I will share, in no particular order, the top 13 worthy to be called out for a spotlight. (PS-all posts link to pics or previous blog posts for you to enjoy or catch up on if you missed them the first time around.)
1. My first sub 10 mile in a race: It happened at the Oxbow Triathlon this Spring after lots of hard work on the run during the off season.

2. Going to Rome for the weekend: In May I got to tag along on a business trip my dad took to Rome. It was pretty amazing! Highlights include seeing Pope Francis address the crowd at St. Stephen’s Square, the Vatican tour, dinner high on one of the Seven Hills at sunset, the tour of the Coliseum and the Roman Forum, eating fettuccine alfredo at the restaurant where it was invented, and aimlessly walking the cobblestone streets and happening upon ruins, fountains and other historical points of interest. (See links for pics on instagram.)
3. Sunroom: Been working on my house room by room since I moved in and this year we completed a renovation of the sunroom. It now has windows that open, blinds that close, furniture to lounge on and a rug to warm your feet. (See links for pics on instagram.)
Thanks for reading and come back tomorrow to check out the next installment of the Top 13 of 2013.
